I rode the TransAmerica Bicycle Route, using detailed maps published by Adventure Cycling, from May 1st to July 21st in 2010. My friend, Steve, and I rode the 4,250-mile ride self-supported, carrying everything we would need on our bikes.
Highlights: Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Mountains, Kansas prairies, Rocky Mountains, all the great people we met along the way.
